Managing Job Losses in Nigeria Due to COVID-19

As we continue to debate the rights and wrongs of lockdowns, irrespective of the Government’s directives, it is clear that institutions are now faced with the more serious decision of what to do with their organisation going forward.

Our survey results show that organisations have varying expectations as to what cost-cutting measures they might need to take, how drastic these measures might be, and when they will become necessary. This report recommends strategies for managing staff and staff costs while dealing with the current financial realities caused by the pandemic.
