Africa is in the surge of digital adoption with an increased rate of internet penetration and hastened pace of COVID – 19 impact recovery interventions. The best approach to cybersecurity, therefore, is resilience and response that underpins coordinated efforts across enterprises and systems to sustainable maturity.
This report provides a qualitative and quantitative analysis of our proprietary surveys and research. It also provides insight gained from our decades of experience implementing cybersecurity programmes and controls in major sectors and organisations in Africa. This report discusses eight major threats prevalent in our environment with insights into known and recorded occurrences across Africa.
At the end of the report, we suggested three critical measures to adopt in building cybersecurity resilience.
