| As more people with little or no knowledge of accounting attain decision-making positions in their organizations, the need for them to have more than a passing knowledge of accounting increases. At the minimum, they need not be overawed by the information in a financial statement and should be able to preside over their ‘all-knowing’ subordinates who may have formal grounding in accounting. This course will provide participants with knowledge and skills to read, understand and use financial statements and other financial reports, for reporting to shareholders and executives in decision-making, planning and evaluating the business. What You Will cover - Introduction of Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Accounting Principles
- The Accounting Equation
- Reading, understanding and interpreting an Annual Report
- Indices of performance, liquidity and solvency
