Course Overview

MSP is a best-practice guide from the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), describing a structured approach for managing Programmes. It has been developed using the collective expertise and practical experience of some of the leading practitioners in the field. This means that it not only reflects best practice, but is also an accessible, workable technique that has been tested by those working in the real world. This course will give delegates grounding in the MSP framework, where they will see how to position key individuals and mechanisms in a programme to ensure that they can realize, measure and claim strategic benefits. Delegates will develop practical confidence to be able to apply MSP flexibly and pragmatically. MSP is written at a high level and the course will guide delegates in applying the framework in a way that will make sense to senior management and other stakeholders.
