The Phillips Consulting and Howard University School of Business Nigerian Leadership Programme
From November 30 through to December 11, 2009, twenty senior Executives from Nigeria will team up with MBA students of the Howard University MBA programme to learn and challenge themselves on the old and new ways of leadership. It will be a unique experience, with two different generations of Africans and their Diaspora mentoring each other.
Over the two week period, these two groups of current and future leaders will reconcile their experience and aspirations through discussions and lectures on corporate leadership - strategy formulation, marketing management, operations management, Information Technology and the management of people. They will touch base with the realities of other leaders through benchmarking visits to key institutions in the Washington DC area. Finally they will put their leadership skills to test through the application of a complex business simulation exercise. Most of all, they will engage in endless conversations with people who make the USA what it is.
Phillips Consulting in collaboration with Howard University’s MBA and Executive Education programs is redefining learning through this innovative approach to leadership and management development.
