| Oliver Campbell White - Managing Director Mr. Campbell White is a UK qualified accountant (ACMA, MBIM) by background. After an early career in aviation, printing and publishing, he joined Coopers & Lybrand (C & L) in 1975 and the following year established the first ever management consulting practice in Africa. He was with C&L for 18 years before starting his own consulting practice, specializing in public enterprise reform and privatization. In 1994 he joined the World Bank as the Senior Public Enterprise & Privatization Specialist in the Africa Region. In that role he advised country teams and client governments on privatization and related matters and managed and reviewed several private sector development projects. He has worked in 46 countries in Africa, Asia and Europe and led assignments in 26 countries across Africa in the following sectors: agricultural production, marketing and processing; banking; central government; construction; emergency aid and refugee relief; energy; health; industrial assembly; manufacturing and processing; mining; professional services; property development and management; retail and wholesale trade; tourism; transport (air, maritime, rail, river and road); telecommunications; and water and sanitation. |
